What is the year, model, make of the chevy truck in taylor swift's "tim mcgraw" video?

I am in the market for an old chevy truck and like the look of the one in that video but I don't know what year it is or the model. Any information about it would be helpful.

Looks like a '69 C10. The model is on the fender, but I couldn't get a good look at in the video.
Here is a pic of a '69:

1983 Chevy truck

I went down to Bend, Oregon to buy and bring back an '83 Chevy Truck. I wanted the winch and Dana 60 and running gear from it. I ended up throwing 40" tires on it and played with it for a day on the back part of my property, and broke it that same day. (snapped the tranny to t-case coupler sleeve). I fixed it and then traded it (minus Dana 60 and winch) for a 1985 GMC Jimmy.

What is the weight of a 1928 chevy truck ASAP?

I am looking for the weight of a 1928 Chevy model AB truck.plz post soon
Everything is in the car.

Call a local moving company and ask them if you can weigh it on their scale. This is a common practice for moving companies. I used Brown's Moving and Storage in WPB to weigh my new bucket trucks after they were assembled for registration purposes.

Chasing the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

For the 2007 model year, the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado has been redesigned. And one of the things that would first catch your attention would be the bright red badge that has been mounted on the vehicle. The badge screams "Vortec Max" and so far, experts do agree that such a name is one of the very best that the brand has been able to come up with.

What has got the Vortec Max badge got to do with the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado? Well, let us just say that under all the Chevy truck parts, you would find the 6.0 liter V8 engine which is quite considered to be a top of the line unit. However, there are some people who have had their say with regards to this. Some have mentioned that they would rather give the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado the name "364 Max Power" or even "Tow Master 364".

Experts who have tried out the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado have said that they found a couple features of the vehicle to be quite outstanding. After all, who would not like the isolated and yet so refined ride that you would get despite towing a heavy package at your rear. Plus, the interior of the vehicle is quite just okay compared to the previous unit. However, despite feeling okay, the interior has not given up on giving its driver and occupants just the right amount of functionality features. By the way, if you do use this vehicle for long rides, you would most probably notice that Chevrolet has made the 2007 Silverado to have quite a quiet cabin.

On the other hand, those who were able to take the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado for a spin do say that there are some parts of the vehicle that need to be worked on. For example, they say that the four speed transmission system does not help out much with regards to the unit's power. Also, some also do suggest that perhaps the company could also work on the truck's seating position for it could get quite bothersome during long drives. The hard armrests could also get some help.

"why Do Ford, Gm and Dcx Alone Still Speak for the Industry?" - Wall Street Journal

"Why do Ford, GM and DCX alone speak for the industry?" That was the query posed by Wall Street Journal as reported by the AIADA newsletter. Said statement was extracted as the paper explores on lack of connectivity regarding Detroit's dilemmas to that of the entire United States auto industry.

Wall Street Journal said, "GM, Ford, Chrysler and their enablers in the new Congress [Michigan Democrats] would have you believe otherwise, but outside of Michigan the U.S. remains a great place to produce vehicles." It added, "Consumers have more choices in what to drive and better quality than ever. And prices are competitive. Government intervention in a market this healthy can only increase the chances that it won't stay that way."

The obvious fact is that Detroit automakers are still dominating the automotive arena even though the international car manufacturers are increasing its market shares and continuously extends their operations in the US.

According to automotive statistics, about 43 percent of all passenger cars and light trucks sold in the US account for international vehicle manufacturers. Furthermore, approximately 60 percent of the entire sales of cars and light trucks in the US by said manufacturers are built in the US.

Wall Street Journal also reported that a recent study conducted by Cato Institute's Daniel Griswold and Daniel Ikenson found out that each of the top 10 selling cars and trucks in the first 6 months of this year is produced at US facilities.

"Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Chevy Impala (GM), Ford Taurus, Nissan Altima, Ford Explorer, Chrysler Town & Country, and other models that round off the most popular 20, regardless of the location of company headquarters, are produced in U.S. plants by American workers who contribute to the local, state, and national economies through their employment, expenditures, and taxes," the authors of the newsletter further noted.

Toyota is famous for its consistency approach and quality Toyota body parts. Ford and GM are also known for their determination and steadfast strength of character. Toyota, which is said to be struggling to dethrone GM will find it difficult to pass through its shield. Moreover, Ford is still holding on to its reign in the truck segment of the auto industry. The auto battle is still sizzling as ever.

Gm's Defective Speedometers Incite Lawsuits

Mr. Kevin Zwicker felt that something was wrong with his 2004 Chevy Suburban; no itâ??s wasnâ??t about the GM grilles but the speedometer when it indicated that he was traveling at 10 mph even though he was driving at or near the speed limit on Interstate 5.

Mr. Zwickerâ??s speedometer has failed completely in April 2006 but unfortunately General Motors refused to replace the defective speedometer stating that the truck was no longer covered by the three-year, 36,000 mile warranty period. Mr. Zwicker has purchased an extended warranty which he paid $100 for a new speedometer and not the regular price of $400 to $500.

Mr. Zwicker who is currently living in Snohomish is the lead plaintiff in a federal lawsuit seeking damages on behalf of other people who also have complaints about their GM vehicles. The lawsuit which was filed last week in the US District Court in Seattle is sufficient to cover complaints of all Washington residents who purchased GM trucks and sport utility vehicles from 2003 to 2007 and who, like Mr. Zwicker need to have their defective speedometers replaced.

Mr. Zwicker has commented that although he is an experienced and careful driver he is uncomfortable to drive not knowing how fast you are going. â??I donâ??t think itâ??s fair that a major manufacturer such as GM can let something like this go by and not give it some serious thought.â?

An almost similar suit was filed this week at the US District Court in Oregon by John Hall who said that he has paid $427.50 in January just to fix the defective speedometer of his 2003 GMC Envoy LE. According to Beth Terrell, an attorney with the Seattle law firm of Tousley Brain Stephens who is representing Hall and Zwicker, the lawsuits in Washington and Oregon are both seeking class-action status. The suits currently cover are five Chevrolet models namely and Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and Trailblazer; and four GMC modelsâ??Denali, Envoy, Sierra, and Trailblazer; plus a Cadillac Escalade.

Terrell said that additional suits may soon follow in other states but at present there is no plan in consolidating the cases into a single national suit against General Motors. â??We think it makes sense to prosecute GM in each state on behalf of that stateâ??s residents.â?

According to GMâ??s spokeswoman, the company will not issue any official statement regarding the alleged lawsuits filed against it until it has seen these lawsuits. The lawsuit filed on behalf of Zwicker is asking for three types of compensation and these are:

1. replacement of all defective speedometers of affected models

2. reimbursement for those who has spent to have their defective speedometer replaced

3. reimbursement for those who have paid speeding tickets caused by the defective speedometers

4. reimbursement for those whose insurance rates have increased as a result of the speeding tickets caused by GMâ??s defective speedometer

The legal filing includes quotes from 19 complaints which are posted on the web sites of National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and other sites that feature the alleged problems with GM speedometers. US District Judge John Coughenour has been assigned on the case and will decide whether to certify the lawsuit as a class-action.

A Good Chronic Constipation Treatment

Treating chronic constipation is complicated by the fact that it can be caused by a variety of factors. The presence of severe or acute abdominal pains along with constipation may be an indication of a blockage in your digestive tract. Unless this blockage is removed, waste will continue to back up and bacteria will rage throughout your entire system. In such cases, constipation treatment will probably include a colon cleansing to remove the blockage and get the system flowing smoothly again. Colon cleansers made from all-natural products are recommended over those made with harsh chemicals which may kill good bacteria living within the digestive tract. More often than not, however, chronic constipation is the result of a chronically poor diet, lack of exercise, and inadequate water intake. Bottom line: long-term constipation treatment almost always includes adding fiber to your diet, increasing water intake, and reducing intake of foods that are known to cause constipation.

Help The Baby Sleep And Get Healthy Rest With Natural Sleep Aids

There are times when it isn't you that needs a sleep aid, it is someone else. Anyone who has ever had a young baby in the house is well aware of the misery that follows a sleepless night. Not only is the little child uncomfortable, but so are you. In this particular case, the chances are very good that you do not need a sleep aid,it is the young one that does. Of course you do not want to give harsh chemicals to a baby simply to encourage sleep. However looking to a natural sleep aids and some well time schedules may help both get the rest you need. Establishing predictable bedtime routines is one of the best ways to make sure that everyone in the house will get a good night's rest. Of course with very young infants this method will take time and they still need middle of the night feedings. You can even help young infants establish a feeding schedule in the night. Once the nighttime feedings are a thing of the past, a great baby sleep aid for insomnia is to warm a bottle or breastfeed right before you lay the baby down. Being feed and the comfort of being close to you will help them settle in for the rest of the night. For a child sleep aids should be natural and easy on their growing systems. SleepSoGood is an excellent example of this type of sleeping aids.

How To Protect Your Chevy Truck Seats

One of the great on-the-road ironies is that while you are sitting comfortably in your seat driving along, the seat itself is going through a huge amount of abuse. From dirty clothes to wet swimsuits, anti aging skin care liquid spill-out, slobbering pets, kids eating in the backseat and the harsh sunlight shining in, there are a lot of potential options out there to ruin or wear out your great looking seats. And if something horrible has happened to your interior you could be looking at a very expensive re-upholstery. One proactive solution to all of these problems is to find yourself some good custom seat covers for your Chevy truck. Protecting your seats with a snug fitting seat cover will take away the worry of staining your car seats or being embarrassed by ripped, tattered and unkempt upholstery. Not only will you be taking care of your seats now, but they will look great too! There are a couple things that you want to know before you start shopping your Chevy Truck seat covers. The first thing to figure out is the type of seat that you have in your vehicle. For Chevy trucks there are only a couple of options. The front seat application usually fits into one of these descriptions: Low Back Buckets w/ Adjustable Headrests, Low Back Buckets w/ Seatbelt Through Seat, High Back Buckets, 40/20/40 Split Bench, or 60/40 Split Bench. For any type of bucket seat, make sure you know if you have adjustable/removable headrests. Also, note the number of armrests on each seat if there are any and if the armrests are attached to the seat on the outside, or inset to fold up into the seat. The 40/20/40 and 60/40 benches can also come with Pull Out Arm/Consoles. Make sure that you note this when ordering to be sure that you receive the correct custom pattern to fit your seat. The rear seat applications are generally going to be one of 3 types: 60/40 Split Benches, 50/50 Split Benches, or a Solid Bench. Once you have all of this information, you are ready to move on to the next decision which is "What type of covers do I need?". Now you need to decide what it is that is your main concern when protecting your Chevy truck seat covers. Are you using your Chevy truck for industry work and moving a lot of tools and guys in muddy work boots around? If that is the case look OEM or Vinyl seat covers. These are the most popular type of covers for industry vehicles, with many fleet and maintenance managers buying custom fit OEM or Vinyl seat covers to help maintain the vehicle's resale value. Or, are you more worried about the wet kids jumping in after a swim or spilling drinks on the drive? In this case, you might be more interested in a waterproof Neoprene seat cover. Or maybe for a bit more fun look into Hawaiian seat covers.
